Waimanalo beach park on the south east side of Oahu is really popular for photo shoots.  It’s a large beach so you won’t have to worry about anyone in your shots.  The colors of the water and sand a perfect for that tropical island look.  Looking left you can see the Mokes in Kailua.  Looking right you get a great view of the Koolau Mountains.  Opposite the beach you have a nice little forest.  It’s got everything you would need all in one place.  I love to shoot here.  The only thing I would say about this beach is that if it’s a windy day I would go for a updo or a lot of extra hairspray as the tradewinds on Oahu blow from east to west.
