This falls only comes out with heavy rainfall. So usually the entire trail up to the falls is glisteningly wet. Waterfalls pour in from every small side canyon. The trail is strewn with guava and lilikoi but the real treat is getting the first glimpse of the 400 foot falls through the trees.
