The east shore of Oahu is kept lush and green year round with plenty of rainfall. Being covered in rain while hiking up to one of the many east shore waterfalls makes one feel a part of the terrain. The smell or the rain as it turns to steam off the hot rocks and the glistening green leaves gives one the feeling of being totally surrounded by growth and young life.
